We are pleased to
announce that we have a newly created, full-featured flight simulator
package for all of you who have been eager to try your hand at flying
the Skycar. This plug-in for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004
features VTOL and level flight capabilities featuring our new
folding-wing, four-passenger design that we've been working on for the
past several years.
The plug-in supports both flight modes, (V)TOL and (F)light, in addition
to a (T)est
mode where you can try everything out and a (C)ar mode.
Currently, this plug-in is only for MS Flight Simulator 2004, but a
version for MS FS X should be available September 2008.

to download the plug-in.
Installation
Requirements:
-------------
1. An installed, properly working version of FS9 (a.k.a. FS2004).
2. A flightyoke or
joystick.
Optionally (for seperate rudder control): a
twisting stick or rudder pedals.
3. This Skycar package requires installation of Pete Dowson's
FSUIPC.dll module
(either registered or unregistered).
The (at this moment) latest version of FSUIPC
(V3.8.1.0) is
included; should you already have a newer version
of FSUIPC installed on your
PC, it is advised NOT to overwrite that.
4. Apart from gauges specially created for the Skycar, some default FS9
gauges
(not included) are used. So make sure you haven't
deleted those.
5. There is no custom sound package for this Skycar; instead, the sounds
are aliassed to the default MSFS Beechcraft
Kingair 350 sound folder.
So make sure you haven't deleted/renamed that
default folder.
To install:
-----------
- Extract the contents of this .zip file tto your main ..\Flight
Simulator 9\
folder, with the unzip option "Use Folder Names" enabled.
This will extract all files to their proper location (see
also pathnames
in the zip file).
- Startup FS9, and create a flight with the Skycar ("Manufacturer =
Moller").
- To obtain the most realistic view in the VirtualCockpit, you should
reduce the
zoomfactor. To do this:
- Switch to VirtualCockpit view, and click anywhere in the
outside view.
- Using the commands "Increase selection slightly" and
"Decrease selection slightly"
(default keys: SHIFT+ resp. SHIFT-), to
set the zoomfactor to 0.80
- Save that flight and use it the next time (the zoom factor
in the VirtualCockpit
is saved/restored from the
"saved-flight-data").
